App Settings

• Color palette - Choose Beach for a light interface or Sea for a dark one. The app defaults to your operating system's light or dark setting.

• Minimize to Tray on Close - When you close the main window, the app keeps running in the system tray instead of quitting, so your work stays where you left it. Switch it off if you would rather closing the window quits the app.

• Enable App Lock (Passkey/PIN) - Extra security layer requiring your fingerprint or a fallback PIN to unlock the app when it starts or resumes. Setting it up asks you to choose the PIN and a recovery password.

Your profile, documents, and settings live in an encrypted database on this computer, and the App Lock sits in front of the interface.

• Enable Auto-Archival - Automatically archives applications that have not been updated for a set number of days.
• Archival Period (Days) - Appears once auto-archival is on. Set anything from 1 to 365 days. Applications you archived yourself are never affected.

Writing happens on this computer, so the model you choose is a trade between quality and speed. The app marks the size that suits your computer's memory.

• Wake (Default) - Balanced speed and quality, and the model downloaded during onboarding. Runs on computers with 8 GB of memory.
• Surf (Medium) - Higher accuracy for complex resumes. Ideal for computers with 16 GB of memory.
• Tsunami (Large) - The best writing, with slower results. Needs at least 24 GB of memory.
• Downloading and removing models - Each size can be downloaded here. Progress is shown while it downloads, and a model already on disk is marked as downloaded with the option to delete it and free the space.

• Enable Automated Backups - Creates an encrypted backup of your app data once a day and keeps the five most recent copies.
• Backup Location - Where the daily backups are written. Use Change Location to point them at a folder you keep, such as an external drive.
• Export Backup - Saves a copy of your current data on demand to a location of your choice.
• Restore Backup - Loads settings and records back from a backup you exported earlier. The app asks you to confirm before it replaces anything.

Backup and restore are part of the paid license and are unavailable during the free trial.

• Reset & Wipe All Data - Deletes your profile, resumes, cover letters, applications, and settings, and signs you out. Files you exported, including backups, are unaffected. The confirmation dialog has a Delete Downloaded AI Models switch for the model files as well; leave it off to keep them and avoid downloading them again. Does not delete account
• About - Shows the version of the desktop app you are running, which is worth quoting if you contact support.
