Browser Extension

• The desktop app does the work - The extension has no account of its own. It talks to the Abacaxi desktop app running on your computer, which holds your profile and does the writing.
• The connection is local - Data moves between the browser and the desktop app on your machine. Your profile is fetched from the desktop app when it is needed and is not stored in the extension.
• It works on any site - Job postings and application forms live on thousands of different sites, including a company's own careers page, so the extension is built to work wherever you are.

• Scan Listing - Open a job posting, open the extension, and choose Create Application. The extension reads the page and creates a new Application with the job's title, company, description, responsibilities, requirements, salary, and URL.
• Save to Applications - Saves the Application to the desktop app, where it appears in your Applications list. Discard throws the capture away instead.
• Review before you save - You always see the parsed details first, and you can correct anything afterwards on the Application page in the desktop app.
• Use the Wake model for this - Creating an Application from a listing is a small, structured job, so the smallest and fastest model is the ideal one. Keep Wake selected in Settings under Local AI Model size for noticeably quicker captures; the larger models are for writing resumes and cover letters.

• Autofill Form - Open the application form you are filling in, then open the extension and switch to the Autofill Form tab. It detects the fields on the page and lists them.
• Autofill Contact Info - Fills the basic fields - name, email, phone, and links - from the profile stored in your desktop app. Each field reports Pending, Filling, or Filled as it goes.
• AI Answer - Long-answer questions, such as why you want the role, get an AI Answer button that writes a response from your profile and fills it in for you.
• Rescan Form - If the page loads more fields, or you move to the next step of the form, rescan to pick them up.

Always read what was filled in before you submit. You are the one applying, so the final wording is yours to change.
